Lori Robinson (right), Army Aviation and Missile Command commanding general, along with Dale McClanahan, Letterkenny Army Depot Future Systems Integration Office chief, discuss depot capabilities during a tour of the depot on August 12.

The tours included discussions on continuous transformation, flexible production space, support to regional sustainment framework, joint workload, and LEAD’s strategy to partner artisans’ experience with technology.

Letterkenny artisans complete cost savings streamlining initiatives

Looking to streamline processes within multiple facilities of Letterkenny Army Depot, the LEAD mission space planning team recently completed an initiative that will save the government money and reduce production times.

The depot consolidation included various air missile defense programs into one of LEAD’s primary production facilities and organized that facility into more conducive product lines.
