REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala –
The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command will host Team Redstone’s 2023 Center of Excellence Advance Planning Briefings to Industry in the Bob Jones Auditorium on Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, March 21-23.
The annual event is open to small businesses, large corporations, federal contractors and government organizations. This year’s event will be a hybrid — open to both in-person attendees and those who wish to participate virtually.
“One of the Army’s top priorities is readiness,” said AMCOM Ombudsman Terri Schwierling. “The Army works closely with its industry partners to build and maintain that readiness. At this annual event, our local federal agencies present details of future plans and programs to our industry partners, so they can work together to provide better products and services to support the Army’s readiness.”
APBI provides a forum for information exchange and discussion between industry, academia and Team Redstone government agencies. The event provides transparency in acquisition strategies by providing long-range technology and capability development objectives to industry partners, as well as information on potential business opportunities available with Team Redstone organizations.
This year’s theme is “Government – Industry Partnerships to Sustain Modernization and Readiness Beyond 2030.”
Previous years’ participants include Missile Defense Agency, U.S. Small Business Administration, NASA – Marshall Space Flight Center, Space and Missile Defense Command, Defense Logistics Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Huntsville Chamber of Commerce and several AMCOM organizations.
