ChaplAin Office

Supports warfighter readiness by providing relevant and responsive religious support for Soldiers, authorized Civilians, and Family members of the Command and by advising the Command on religion, morals, morale, and ethical issues that impact the workforce and joint warfighter capabilities.


 
 

Competition Management OFFICE

Eliminates barriers to competition ensuring that competition is planned early-on in the acquisition process; validating documentation that specifies sole source/limited source procurements; and by developing programs to expand the industrial base to develop, acquire, field and sustain aviation and missile systems.


 
 

Equal Employment Office

Promotes a culturally inclusive environment,attracting, developing and retaining highly skilled, talented and motivated civilians who enhance our communities and are prepared for leadership in a global and diverse environment.


 
 

Headquarters & Headquarters Company

Provides unit-level military training management, essential personnel services and command interest program support to all Soldiers assigned and attached to AMCOM and other Redstone Arsenal units with established orders or written agreements designating the HHC Commander with administrative and/or legal authority over their unit in order to ensure all organizations maintain unit readiness and all Army personnel receive timely, efficient and reliable personnel services and support.


 
 

INSPECTOR General

Serves as the eyes, ears, voice and conscience of the commander. Conducts thorough, objective, and impartial inspections and investigations; provides assistance and training; and advises and assists Army Leaders in maintaining Army values, readiness, good order and discipline.


 
 

INTERNAL REVIEW & AUDIT COMPLIANCE OFFICE

Supports AMCOM in improving accountability and compliance in the execution of their missions and preparation for financial audits. This is accomplished with a team of highly professional auditors providing senior leadership reasonable assurance that the Life-Cycle Management Command programs operate effectively and efficiently.


 
 

LEGAL

Delivers responsive, timely, high quality legal and business judgement advice and support to the AMCOM Commanding General and all other customers, across the full range of legal services needed to meet the mission.

 
 

OFFICE OF SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS

Serves as the principle advisor to the AMCOM Commanding General and Team Redstone regarding small business issues while ensuring the various categories of small businesses receive equitable opportunities to participate and compete in the procurement process. OMBUDSMAN

Serves as the personal representative of the Commanding General and independent senior government official responsible for receiving and acting upon inquiries and complaints concerning AMCOM, which are brought to his attention by industry, the private sector, or internal government sources. Public & Congressional Affairs

Communicates the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command's value, support and contributions to the Warfighter to audiences, including the general public and leaders in government, industry and academia. The Office of Public and Congressional Affairs team works to increase understanding and enhance support for AMCOM's mission, accomplishments and requirements. SAFETY

Serves as a principal independent staff advisor to the AMCOM Commander in all matters relating to the safety of people and equipment provided to aviation and missile customers by this Life Cycle Management Command. Safety's organized into three divisions (Missile System Safety, Aviation System Safety, and Operational Safety) consistent with the commodities and facilities managed by AMCOM.


 
 

SECRETARY OF THE GENERAL STAFF

Serves as the entry/focal point for all command and staff actions and provides a full complement of executive services including calendar management, executive correspondence quality control, protocol services, suspense and read ahead management.
